General Information

Course Info: Sprint swim course: The 750 meter swimming leg is off the Elks boat ramp into a wakeless bay, with a water temperature in the mid-70’s. The route will be marked with large orange buoys, and friendly kayakers to direct you. The ramp will be covered with carpet to protect the athlete’s feet.

Sprint bike course: The biking leg will take you onto rolling country roads, with stretches where you will be able to see the reservoir and you may be able to see wildlife on the route. The entire biking leg is on paved surfaces.

Sprint run course: The running leg progresses up a slight incline to a parking area then across the dam, before dropping down a small hill to the turnaround, then back across the dam to the finish line. The entire running leg is on hard packed dirt road base except for the parking lot after the dam on the way out.

More: Each finisher receives a medal and a drinking glass. Top Men's, Women's and Youth receive hoodies and free registration to next year's event.
Top team (Corporate Challenge) receives a traveling trophy and each member receives a hoodie.

Directions: From Sterling north on 7th Ave to County Road 46. Left (west) on 46 to 330 then right (north) to the second entrance (Elks campground). Park fee is included in registration.
