The bike course has one word, awesome. I chose that word because it was used the most from athlete's emails. In a day and age when half courses are over sold for what they can actually accommodate, this is a welcome change, featuring everything from lightning fast flat sections, to fast winding descents, to a heart pounding climb. It just never slows down - an unforgettable experience for the athlete.
The run course will take you through the residential streets of East Tawas, flat and out to the airport and back before finishing with the best finish line in the state, Downtown E. Tawas on Newman Street.

Spectators enjoy the perfect vantage point on the pier, white sandy beach, and a huge park to host the pre and post race festivities with live band and catered post race meal.
The bike and run courses are second to none, taking you through the national forest, along the Au Sable River. The run course takes you out past the finish line, past some quaint shops and through the residential area to the turnaround point.
Then Downtown East Tawas and Newman Street host the best finish line in the state!
At the finish, a post race catered meal with awards and raffle with over $10,000.00 in prizes!

Directions: There is city parking throughout town. Please follow all city parking ordinances.
Registration/Check-in is located at the city park on the corner of Newman and 23, between the city campground and Tawas Bay Beach Resort under the tent.
