General Information
Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: This event will start at the end of the ebb tide at to make the best use of the hard pack exposed by the receding tide. I guarantee this will be the most fun you have ever had in a triathlon, resulting in the biggest grin from ear to ear, start to the finish. The course is completely void from any motorized vehicles and if you have any over corrections, the sand makes for a soft landing.
We will be adding our unique beach furniture to create a couple of obstacles to mix it up in front of your family and friends, who if they stay in one place will get to see you every 5-8 minutes on the 1 mile bike loop.
All of these reasons will probably make it the safest triathlon you will ever race in, and be the most spectator friendly triathlon or duathlon you will ever race in.
Remember
FAT is the new THIN.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
