SWIM with the bear...BIKE with the eagle...RUN with the rabbit...
Mountains to Main Street is back for year number 2, and it will be awesome! Swim in the ultra-pure waters of Lake Keowee in Seneca, SC, bike along the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and run a net downhill run along the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail with a finish line overlooking the Reedy River and Reedy Falls in award-winning downtown Greenville, SC. Sounds like a dream doesn't it? Well, year number one saw that dream come true and you can experience it again on Sunday May 21, 2017 as the Half Iron Distance returns to Downtown Greenville. We can't wait to show you everything the Upstate has to offer!
A Half Marathon event will also accompany the triathlon and will be a point to point affair from Travelers Rest into downtown utilizing the same run course as the triathlon.
SHIRT POLICY Anyone registering within the final 2 weeks leading up to the event date will not be guaranteed a shirt as orders must be placed at that time.
More: See race website.
Directions: The closest major airport is Greenville Spartanburg International Airport, GSP. The airport hosts most major carriers and is approximately 15 minutes from packet pickup (downtown Greenville) and one hour from the swim start area.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
