Course Info: Against the Tide is held at the beautiful DCR's Nickerson State Park on Flax Pond. The Aquathon features a 1-mile open water swim followed by the participant's choice of a challenging USATF-certified 5K or 10K run on paved road and bike path.
More: Against the Tide is a multi-sport event in support of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition. Event T-shirts are provided to all participants, along with great post-race food from our sponsors. Prizes are awarded to top male & female finishers for both the Aquathon 5K and Aquathon 10K.
Directions: From Boston:
-Take Rte. 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge
-Take Rte. 6 to exit 12 in Orleans
-Turn left off the ramp onto Rte. 6A West towards Brewster
-Continue for about 2 miles. Park entrance is on left.
