Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: This course has something for everyone! The courses and different distances are designed so that a person can try one of the 4 events for the first time or a season veteran can challenge themselves. The 4 events are: Duathlon – 3 mile Run, 18 mi bike, 3 mi Run; Bike Time Trail – 17 miles or a 5K Run. USA Triathlon sanctioned.

Duathlon transition area opens at 7:00 am. First heat starts at 9:00 am.
USA Triathlon license is required for all Duathlon competitors.
Athletes 17 and under are required to purchase an annual license. When registering for the duathlon on active.com, if competitors are not current USAT annual license holders you will automatically be charged for either the one event or annual license fee depending on which one you choose. A competitor can apply the one event license fee to an annual membership later in the year.
Minimum age to compete as an individual in duathlon is 12 years of age. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Cutoff times per leg: Run - one hour; Bike - 1.5 hours; Run - one hours
TEAMS -
10 and 11 years olds may compete in a team with permission from race director. Teams can be made up of two or three people. One person can do two legs of the race.
Directions: Fayetteville Executive Airport, Drake Field, 4500 S School Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701 is located only 5 miles from downtown Fayetteville on Hwy 71.
Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
