Course Info: This Sprint distance triathlon features a 1/4 mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, followed by a 10 mile closed course bike through Fort De Soto Park, then finishes with a beautiful 3.1 mile run throughout the park with a stretch on the hard packed beach sand with gorgeous scenery and returning on the paved path. The Duathlon starts with a 1 mile paved run around the north parking lot and finishes with the same bike and run as the Sprint Triathlon. The International Triathlon starts with a .5 mile Gulf swim, followed by a 20 mile close bike course ( two 10-mile loops), and then finishes with a 6.2-mile run course. Come and see why Fort De Soto Park is consistently voted one of the top beaches in the world!
More: You may pick up your packets, race numbers, and t-shirts early to avoid lines on race day. PER USAT RULES – ALL TRIATHLETES & DUATHLETES MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PACKET – NO EXCEPTIONS. All relay team members must be present in order to pick up a relay packet. Please bring your receipt from online registration. All triathletes & duathletes must present their annual USAT license at packet pickup along with a photo ID.
*Timing chips can only be picked up on race morning; however this is very quick with no lines or waiting.
