Course Info: The swim will take place in the scenic Cumberland River, maximizing down stream and paths of least resistance. This section of the river has very little current so swim times will be fast.

The bike is set up to be fast. Sprint participants will ride out Hwy 12 to the Davidson County line and back, with Olympic participants making 2 loops.

The run takes you out to the Cumberland River Bicentennial Trail where you'll be surrounded by the sounds of nature and color of wildflowers. The Bicentennial Trail is flat and shaded, making it an ideal course for the run.

More: It's back and better than ever! The Riverbluff Triathlon, one of the Southeast's premier multi-sport events, returns in 2016 with new management and fresh ideas. Ashland City's Riverbluff Park serves as the perfect venue with a beautiful setting, fast course and easy logistics. If you've participated in the past, expect more. If you're considering Riverbluff for the first time, you will not be disappointed.

2016 will offer Sprint and Olympic distance options, Aquabike, and 2 and 3 person Relay Teams. Whatever your fancy, this race will accommodate.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that. To use the utility, type in an address that is close to your location and then drag-and-drop the marker to obtain the desired lat/long. If you choose to enter a lat/long, you must check the box on the edit page that says, "override geocode with entered lat/long."
