General Information
Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: The Swim will take place in beautiful Lake Townsend. The water is very clean and clear. Near the swim exit, there is a small island and a long pier which are both perfect for spectating. This unique design of the swim will allow for spectators to be within 15 feet of the swimmers as they finish the swim in the cove of the Lake Townsend Marina. The swim will be a wave start format, with 4 minutes between each wave. We will provide you with a swim cap that corresponds to your wave at packet pick up.
Bike Course: The bike course is a fabulous one loop course on smooth, rural country roads. It has gently rolling hills, with many more downhills making for a fast course. Traffic is unbelievably light, so it will seem you have the roads to yourself. It runs through the Reedy Fork Neighborhood and into Guilford County. It’s a fast and challenging course with beautiful scenery and many wide roads.
Run Course: The run course is an out and back course. It is completely self contained in Bryan Park. It is largely shaded, as it winds through the Bryan Park Golf Course with the large oak trees lining the road providing beautiful views for participants. It is a relatively flat course with only a few small hills. Aid stations are positioned every 1 mile.

Directions: Parking will be available at the many parkings lot around Lake Townsend Marina and Bryan Park. Please allow time to walk from the parking lot to registration.
