A 2 lap, 1 mile swim in Avon’s Nottingham Lake will kick off the point-to-point event.
T1 will send racers out on the pavement and provides a chance to get the legs cranking for the off-road uphill climb along the trails of Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead and Beaver Creek. Rolling singletrack brings riders into T2 at the base of the Centennial Lift in Beaver Creek Village. Runners hit the trails for 5.75 miles through aspen glades, returning to the base of Beaver Creek Village for the post-race party!

XTERRA Sport Course Details: .5 mile swim, 9 mile mountain bike, 3 mile run
Please note, XTERRA American Tour age-group points will not be awarded for this distance.
A 1 lap, .5 mile swim in Avon’s Nottingham Lake will starts off this point-to-point event.

More: XTERRA Beaver Creek is honored to be selected as the Mountain Championship in the XTERRA America Tour. The race promises to showcase the best off-road racing in the Rockies. XTERRA USA Champion Josiah Middaugh has designed a true championship course to test athletes’ endurance and strength at altitude.

A $15,000 pro prize purse and amateur age-group prizes will draw rookies, experienced XTERRA athletes, and an accomplished Pro field from around the world. Race next to the top athletes in off-road racing as they challenge themselves at altitude in Beaver Creek, Colorado.


A shortened Sprint Distance course is also offered for those athletes not quite ready to leap into the full XTERRA event. Points are not awarded for this race.
