Course Info: Eppie's Great Race is a triathlon held along the American River Parkway and consists of 5.82 Run, 12.5 bike and 6.35 paddle. It is the World's Oldest Triathlon and has the largest kayak race in the United States. Whether you are a competitor completing the race in 1.5 hours or doing it for just the fun of it in 1.5 to 4 hours, everyone has a great race.

More: The event benefits Therapeutic Recreation Services for mentally and physically challenged individuals. The race has 30 divisions of Iron and Teams including Open Division for Men and Woman, Co-Eds, Mens 40+ or 50+ or 60+, Womans 40+ or 50+ or 60+, Family, Corporate, Open Canoe, Open Kayak, etc.

Directions: For the Carbo Load/Packet Pick up or Finish line and are coming from Sacramento, take 50 East to Bradshaw, turn left on Bradshaw, turn right on Folsom, turn left on Rod Beaudry, Follow into Park, Pass Entrance and go through two stop signs, on your left will be a road to the picnic area and turn left there. Park in the VIP Parking Area.
