The Metro Triathlon swim course will take place in Lake Almaden in San Jose . The course will be clearly marked with large buoys and designed by our swim course director Paul Dribnock. Additionally the swim course will be marshaled by multiple lifeguards insuring course flow and safety.
Bike Course:
As mentioned this course is fast but there is a climb around mile 15. If you have a disc you will probably want to break it out. Pro Triathletes have ridden sub 56 minutes on this course in previous year. The course is designed and marshaled by Muddy Waters.
Run Course:
This course is pancake flat, if you want a 10km P.R. this is the course to come out and shoot for it. You also get two turn around/loop points where you can stalk your age group competition.
