Course Info: Join us for the Prospect Park Spring Duathlon in Brooklyn, NYC. For the third consecutive year we have THREE different distances all on one day!
* Classic Distance Duathlon: 3.1 mile run/14 mile bike/3.1 mile run
* Sprint Distance Duathlon: 2 mile run/10 mile bike/2 mile run
* International Distance Duathlon: 6.2 mile run/27 mile bike/3.1 mile run
RUN through Brooklyn’s only forest, past it’s waterfalls, under the Nethermead and East Wood Arches, through the Cleft Ridge Span Tunnel, over the Binnen and Esdale Bridges, and around the Long Meadow. You will always remember this run!!!! That’s why you will do it twice when you join us for the Prospect Park Duathlon. In between those runs you’ll bike the 3.35 mile loop going up gradual inclines, around long curves, and on fast flats allowing you to be strategic in the use of your strengths. Then hang out with a great crowd and amazing oatmeal during the awards ceremony. SIGN UP NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR BIKE!!!
More: At least one USAT marshal will be present to reinforced non-drafting rules. Awards for top 3 overall female and male. Top 3 male and female in age groups of 5 starting with 19 & under, 20-24, etc.

Directions by Subway:
-*Take the Q train to Prospect Park Station. Get in one of the FIRSTcars to exit on Lincoln Rd. Walk towards the Park, cross Ocean Ave. Enter the Park and the transition area will be on your right on the grassy area.
Take the 2 or 4 train to Grand Army Plaza. Enter the park through Grand Army Plaza and go down on the East Drive. You will be going against traffic, so please be aware of other bikers, joggers and walkers coming up the hill. The TA will be on your right after the Boat House.
Directions by Car:
From Manhattan:
Use Brooklyn Bridge, then left onto Atlantic Ave., then right on Flatbush Ave. Continue to Grand Army Plaza and go half-way around the traffic circle. You will pass the entrance to the Prospect Park Zoo, turn right at the light onto Ocean ave. Enter the park to your right on Lincoln Rd.
From Long Island & Queens:
Via Interborough Pkwy. (Jackie Robinson Pkwy.) to Bushwick Ave. exit. Left onto Eastern Pkwy. to Grand Army Plaza. Go all the way around traffic circle to Flatbush Ave. south. Continue to entrance on right. Via Brooklyn-Queens Expwy. to Tillary St. exit. Left at second light onto Flatbush Ave., to Grand Army Plaza. Go half-way around the traffic circle. Continue on Flatbush Ave. to Willink entrance on right.
From Connecticut, Westchester and the Bronx:
Bronx Whitestone Bridge to I-678 south, (Whitestone Pkwy.), to Van Wyck Expway to Interborough Pkwy. Jackie Robinson Pkwy. west to Bushwick Ave. exit. Left onto Eastern Pkwy. to Grand Army Plaza. Go all the way around traffic circle to Flatbush Ave. south. Continue to entrance on Ocean Ave. and Lincoln Rd.
From New Jersey
Bridges or tunnels to Manhattan, south on West Side Highway, to FDR Drive north and Brooklyn Bridge exit. From the Bridge, follow the “From Manhattan” directions
PARK along Flatbush aVe. or on Ocean Ave. There is no parking inside the park. Cars are not allowed inside the park.
