Course Info: Hammer Duathlon & Sprint Triathlon- Benefits the Humane Society of Loudon County in memory of a special dog named “HAMMER”. This early season USAT sanctioned event is in its 13th year in 2013. Come out for a great cause and test your off-season work!
Choose either a 400 meter swim in the triathlon or 5K run in the duathlon. Each event is followed by a 16.1 mile bike and 5 K run.
The bike course is also an out and back on Tellico Parkway with a loop at the far end covering Davis Ferry and Maple Hill Roads. Terrain is rolling and fast.
Run courses use the roads and paved trails of the TVA Tellico Recreation area. Aid stations will be passed each mile of this rolling course.
Both run courses use the roads and paved trails of the TVCA Tellico Recreation area. Aid stations will be passed each mile of this rolling course.
The bike course is also an out and back on Tellico Parkway with a loop at the far end covering Davis Ferry and Maple Hill Roads. Terrain is rolling and fast. No aid stations on bike.

Directions: Race Venue Directions: TVA Tellico Dam Recreation Area (at start of Tellico Parkway), Lenoir City, TN – Exit I-75 at Lenoir City, take Rt. 321 South toward Maryville, past Rt. 11 & over Ft. Loudon Dam, exit right after dam to Tellico Parkway, go straight at stop sign to race site. (Race site +/- 4 miles S of I-75)
