Course Info: Q: What is the swim like?
A: The swim starts from the swim area at Lake Padden. Across and back (1/2 mile) is the competitive distance, halfway and back (1/4 mile) is the recreational distance. The event is chip timed by Perfect Time Events and will start in waves of approximately 50

Q: What is the bike like?
A: The bike is hilly on paved city and county roads. The course is well-marked with chalk, there will also be volunteers on the course directing traffic and racers alike. Helmets are required. Participants are encouraged to become familiar with the course beforehand.

Q: What's the run like?
A: The run is one or two (depending on your division) counter-clockwise laps around Lake Padden. The half flat, half rolling hill limestone path is on relatively joint-friendly crushed limestone.

A: Prizes were donated by local companies.

Q: Is there a time limit?
A: Yes, there is a 3-hour limit for the competitive event and a 2 1/2 hour limit for the recreational event.

Take exit #252, head South on Samish Way and follow signs to Lake Padden West entrance.
South:
Take exit #246, take a left on Samish and follow signs to Lake Padden West entrance--4882 Samish Way.
