Course Info: Mercer Island sets the stage for this beautiful course. The popularity of this event continues to grow year after year. We completely shut down the I-90 express lanes just to give athletes the unique chance to bike across the floating bridge. This sprint event entails a half-mile swim, 12-mile bike and 2.5-mile run. You'll begin with a half-mile swim in Lake Washington at Luther Burbank Park. Then gear up for an 12-mile out-and-back bike ride in the closed-to-traffic express lanes of I-90. Finally, limber up your running legs for a 2.5-mile run along the jog path through beautiful Mercer Island. The event is limited to 800 participants so don't wait too long to register!

Personalized award plaques will be mailed to top three individual finishers, male and female, in each 5-year age group, and the first place relay team in each category (male, female, co-ed).
*Wetsuits are allowed, but not mandatory.
* Start/Finish and all transitions are at Luther Burbank Park.
*Air temperatures range from the low-60s to low-90s.
*NO DRAFTING!
*And last, but not least, absolutely NO AUDIO devices (ipods, mp3, anything with headphones) allowed. You will be disqualified if found or reported wearing any audio device. We want to have a safe race.
Directions: To get to LUTHER BURBANK PARK:
From the Eastside (Bellevue):
Take I-90 West and take the Island Crest/ N. Mercer Way exit. Turn right on SE 26th St. then left on 84th Ave. and into the park.
From the Westside (Seattle):
Take I-90 East and take the 77th Ave. SE exit. Turn left on 77th Ave. SE, then right on N. Mercer Way. Turn left on 26th St. and follow the above directions into the park.
