General Information
Registration fees included or disclosed up front?: Not specified whether registration/convenience fees are added. Course Info: The swim takes place in the clear waters of Mountain Run Lake where athletes will swim a 1 loop 1,500 meter course and exit into the unique transition area that is the Culpeper Triathlon. The transition area and finish line are in a bowl surrounded by banked seating on either side. After exiting the water athletes will do a bike course that is similar to the sprint course but with the addition of a left hand turn that extends the course by 8 miles for a 24 mile bike course. This is not an easy bike course, but it sure is fun with an extended straightaway on 522 that is great for tucking into the aero position. The run course is a challenging 2 lap version of the sprint course.
This event features a Tri-Blend Crew Style T-shirts, Custom Race Socks, Finisher?s Medals, Professional DJ, Bounce House and a post race meal.

-This event allows a one time deferral of your registration to the following years event. Athletes can do this through their profile by paying a $20 deferral fee at least 30 days prior to the event. Once we are within 30 days and until online registration closes you may defer your entry to the following year for $35. Sorry, but refunds are not allowed for this, or any VTSMTS event.

Map location is based off of a geocode of the addressed entered using Google's Google Maps API. If your address does not geocode properly, you can either update the address (we will attempt to re-geocode after any updates to your entry) or you can use Google's geocoding tool found here: http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/geocoder/singlegeocode.html to obtain a lat/long for your location and enter that.
